Episode 106: Dr. Justin Kennedy – Suffer Skillfully

In his late twenties, Justin’s life changed when he was hit by a car on his newly purchased Vespa—while on the way to buy a helmet.

Initially, as Justin recovered from his coma, he was unable to talk and had limited mobility. Yet Justin has learned to live with the internal scars and physical manifestations of a traumatic brain injury, refusing to let it stand in the way of his success.

Today, Justin works as a neuroplastician, behavioural science professor, TEDx speaker, author, and faculty at several academic institutes.

His book, Brain Reboot: A Change of Mind Will Change Your Brain, explains how to work with your brain to live a healthier, happier, and more productive life—both personally and professionally.

In this podcast episode, Justin shares his remarkable journey and helps us understand the neuroscience of resilience.
